. . GTA IV . .

Another relaxing Wednesday. Wasn't much to do also. But still got stuffs to work on. Just some minor amendments here and there. Finished them as fast *ehem* as I can.

Been looking through some computer hardwares online these few days. Been thinking of upgrading my computer. This computer is already more than 3 years old. Been playing with the thought of getting a whole new computer altogether *without monitors/keyboard/mouse etc etc*. There's this local online shop that had configured a good set up and was thinking of getting it. But the cost was a lil bit over my $1000 budget. And I already have casings, dvd drive and some other stuffs that I don't need to change that is in the configurations. So, was also thinking of just getting the ones that I need and just replace those with what I already have. My colleague, L10 suggested that I get the whole new one but still retain my current harddisk. Hmm. Still thinking.

Anyway, after I got home, went down to the gameshop for a while to look out for a Xbox360 game that was just launched a day ago. Got it! Hah! It's Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA IV) and it had received a very good review! Been looking at all the screens and videos of this game before it was launched and I agreed that the game look awesome. Can't wait to start on the game.

On that thought. I think I'll go start it up right now! Hah!

. . Like No Tomorrow . .

Wasn't much to blog about work the last 2 days. Same old same old. Been feeling kind of low lately. Smoked a lot on Monday. Smoked like no tomorrow. Stress. Stress. Hah! But kind of resolved the problem later on. Well, not really resolved. But not feeling that low already.

Anyway, Tuesday was an alright day. Smoked less than Monday. That's all.

See how tomorrow.

. . Crazy . .

Wasn't a really fruitful weekend. Slacked and rotted at home most of the time. On Saturday, took a long walk to clear some of these stuffs in my head. Walked from my home to my old place. Crazy. You know, to the Old Jurong Green Market. Yeah, I walked. Took around 40 - 45 minutes. Crazy. I wasn't in the mood to ride my bike.

Almost everyday I rode my bike and sometimes I took the route that I walked that day. Usually I just sped by the place. But having taken a slow walk through there, things really look different and I do noticed some stuffs that I wouldn't noticed if I had rode my bike. Sometimes, you need to slow down to appreciate the view around you * cheybah!*

Anyway, after I reached there, I took a bus back to Boon Lay Bus Interchange. Sat at the upper deck just to get a different perspective of the route I had taken. This Super Double Deck Bus. think it's a new bus. Or maybe just that it's been a long time since I took a bus. Was this new double decker bus with the green/yellow seats. Looks very nice. When I reached the bus interchange, decided to walk around Jurong Point.

Saw that the construction of the extending mall is near complete. Well, not really. But looks like the mall/new bus interchange could be estimated to open within this year. The condominium on top of this extension is still at a very new stage. Still long way to go.

Reached home around 5.00 pm plus. Walked around for more than 3 hours. Crazy.

Sunday. Had thought of going back to the office and do some work. Crazy. But, I decided against it and stayed at home instead. Been a long time since I had to stay at home for 2 days consecutively on a weekend. Used to, back then, all the time. Now I think it's happening again. And I hate it.

Again I slacked and rotted at home. Napped in and out on my bed. Crazy. Caught a Stephen Chow's classic funny movie on Channel 8. Played some games. All to clear my head. But I guess it's going to take more than that. Don't ask me what's in my head. It's something personal and I don't want to spell it out here.

Went out for a run in the late evening around 9.00 pm. Crazy. Managed to run a steady, 3 rounds than the usual 2 rounds. Quite surprised. Still managed to do 8 pull-ups after that. Crazy. Well looks like the daily morning push-ups are quite working.

Intend to go to work early tomorrow. Crazy. See how.

. . Messed up . .

I'm a bit messed up right now. Haven't had these feelings for a long time. This dilemma. This depression. These things in my head. This dryness in my throat. This feelings in my gut. This emptiness.. This pain.

It's happening all over again.

. . Forbidden Kingdom . .

Saturday! Woke up really early as I had the Communications Course for the whole day. Had to reach the location at 9.00 am and it's located at Tekka Mall. So left home just around 8.00 am 'cause I had to make a quick detour to the office to get my jacket. Reached there just on time. But, I was the second one to arrive there. G.O was there first.

The rest strolled in one at a time, and the class eventually starts 30 minutes late. The speaker then continued where we left off 2 weeks ago. Anyway, think that the course was just alright. But if I was given a choice, I wouldn't attend this kind of courses. It's not that I had not attend this kind of talks and courses when I was younger, in training during my National Service. I was trained to lead as I was holding a senior officer post. But then again, the "Communication Course" was quite different and a good refreshment.

After the course, I met up with Frecky to catch "The Forbidden Kingdom" starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Quite a good show, with all the kungfu and martial arts by Chan & Li. This is the first time the duo starred in a film, though they had been friends since a long time ago. The story was quite cheesy. Amongst the Chinese fabled-storyline suddenly got 1 Ang-moh guy. Though he was very important in the story, I believe even if he was replaced with a chinese character the storyline will remained the same. So having the Ang-moh guy is just so lame. Anyway, Chan's and Li's fight choreograph was simply awesome! Should see the movie if you're a great fan of these two martial artists!

Sunday. Today I slacked and sleep in all day. Eat, sleep, shit, watch tv. Repeat. Didn't even want to go for a short run.

Too lazy today.

. . Altered . .

Isn't is good to have a relaxing day at work? Been having not so much work these past few days. The GM is mostly not in the office since yesterday til tomorrow. The Company had set up a booth at the Cityscape Exhibition at Suntec City Exhibition Centre and some of my colleagues had been stationed there.

Most of the Photoshop Artists dropped by the exhibition this afternoon *they left office around 5.00 pm*. I didn't go 'cause I wasn't really interested to go. Initially, I even wanted to help out and station myself at the booth. But I changed my mind. Thought I just go there as a guest. But now, don't really think I want to go already. Don't know why I'm like this.

After work, *I left the office early around 6.15 pm* I headed to the Old Jurong West "Green" market to collect my altered Levi's denim jeans. When I reach there to collect, the uncle there didn't remember my garment. He searched around the place for a while before I found it lying on a chair in a corner. It wasn't altered yet. Haiz. Fed-up. He said he do it on the spot and asked me to come back about 20 minutes later. I just lef the place without acknowledging him. Fed-up. A simple alteration that can can be done in less than half an hour, is simply dragged to the last minute. If I'd know that he could rush it out, I should had asked him to do it there and then, when I came to drop it off for alteration two days ago.

Wasted my time and petrol coming back the second time. I totally frown on such inability/ignorances to be efficient. I know I, myself, am not perfect. But if I know that something that could be done once, I wouldn't want to do it twice.

Definitely, definitely not going back there again.

. . Tin Collecting . .

The usual boring stuff for today. But most of the amendments and some new fresh render came in today. Haiz. When there's nothing to do, it very quiet. When there's work, there's a truckload of it. What to do? Well luckily, it's nothing that my team can't handle. Passed the new renders to Kay, Kan & Ken. I've already took one fresh render on Monday and I was handled a lot of amendments today. Which is good, at least I got some stuff for SYun to do. She's caught it up fast with the amendments. But not without guidance. Next thing I'll do is to let her do it all by herself. Nothing exciting happened today. 'Cept during lunch.

Went to lunch with Khai as Im was rushing for deadline at 3.00 pm. After we seated down eating our meals, an auntie (Auntie A)approach us, asking for our drink tin cans for tin collection. We had just sat down and the drink tin cans are not empty yet, so I told her "Later,". She then walked away. A short while later, another auntie (Auntie B) approached us for our tin cans too. Told her the same thing I told Auntie A. BUT! This Auntie B decided to sit at our table to wait 'til we finish the contents in the tin cans. It felt quite weird and awkward eating my lunch. Suddenly, Auntie B was talking in a loud manner to someone behind me. It was Auntie A!!

Auntie A was also waiting for us to finished our drink but she was sitting at another table. Hah! Suddenly heated words were exchanged between the two Aunties! Hah. Me and Khai was smiling to each other. A fight nearly broke out, and it's all because of two drink tin cans?! Auntie A then said to Auntie B that she was there first and that she had "booked" the tin cans first. Well, since I'm such an honest guy *COUGH*, I confirmed with Auntie B that Auntie A was indeed the first to "book" our drink tin cans. After a shouting some angry words at and provoking Auntie A, Auntie B moved away to another table to wait on some other tin cans. This then made Auntie A moved over and sit at our table. Hah!

After we emptied the drink tin cans, we passed it on to Auntie A.

. . Green Market . .

Another nothing much to do at work today. Seems like the In-charge(s) are busy doing something else? I'm not sure. Or are they waiting for confirmation on projects? Don't know. But still, I only received 1 fresh render today. I decided to do it myself rather than pass it to Ken or Kan 'cause I don't really want nothing to do. Hah! Anyway, the deadline for this is not rushed. First draft by end of Wednesday. And I think I've finished 50% of it. Hopefully can "finish" it by end of tomorrow.

Feeling quite tired at work today, and also my body, my thighs especially, are aching. Well, all the reason I should do more running in the future. Hah! Maybe another short run tomorrow after work.

After work, detoured a 'lil while to the "old" Jurong West "Green" Market. An area where I used to live around at. There are 2 markets around the "old" Jurong West area. *Old Jurong West is near the Lakeside MRT*. The "Green" & "Red" market. The colours refer to the surrounding blocks these markets are located at. Anyway, I went to a tailor shop to get my Levi's jeans altered/shortened. Why go to a tailor that's quite far from my home you asked? Well, no particular reason actually. I'm used to go there to get my pants altered since when I was staying in that area. My mom and the lady owner *I think* know each other. My mom used to make the traditional malay dress and usually seek the auntie's help sew something by using a special sewing machine. Well, that was a long time ago. She doesn't sew now.

Took a walk round the "Green" market remininscing some past. Saw one provision shop that was still there, ever since the market was built. But I think they are having hard times keeping the shop. It used to be quite a big shop * 2 shop area combined* but what I saw was quite saddening. Their shop was downsized to less than half of what it was. Think it is hard for them to keep up, what with the NTUC Fairprice supermaket just 2 shops away and another big modern provision shop, a stone throw away.

Quite sadden to see the shop in the current state.

. . Short Run . .

Yesterday's movie that I caught was ok. It was a Russian movie that sets in Moscow. It's all about corrupt cops and bribery, prostitution, and the young main character whose is fresh out of the Russian army. This movie is part of the 21st Singapore International Film Festival. Not going to give my reviews on this movie. Just think that it's an "alright" movie.

Today is my rest day. Really need to slack it out at home. Had already cleaned up the house yesterday morning, after I woke, as the place was quite dusty and I am definitely not comfortable with that. Vacuumed up the living room, the dining room and also my room. Cleaned up the TV console and also the coffee table. Felt really good after that.

Anyway, today didn't really do anything much. Watched some TV *Casino Royale was on HBO* at noon. Played some game after that and went for a short run in the evening, Haven't run around my neighbourhood for such a long time. I managed to run a specific round twice. The distance covered is about 2.4 kilometres. If I'm not wrong. Anyway, didn't really took timing for it. But I guess I ran for less than 18 minutes? Not sure. But definitely need to practice and run more. Did some pull ups too. Managed to only do a struggling 7 pull ups. Need more practice there also. Hehe.

Watched some more TV at night ; MotoGP on StarSports and GhostRider on HBO after that.

Was a good relaxing day.

. . The Bucket List . .

Haha. Still relaxed at work. Hehe. Not much project at all. GOOD! Got to work as usual, like a movie star reaching the office near 10.00 pm. Did a 'lil bit of work then got ready to recce the office space by 11.00 am.

Even though the new office space is down-road to the current main office, I didn't feel like walking there. It's too early in the day to take a walk. Hehe. So I took the bike down. Gave Khai a lift there also. Wanted to park my bike at the nearest carpark but when I reached there, the carpark was not there anymore. There was some construction work there * for the construction of the new MRT line station there*. Therefore I parked my bike a few blocks up-road and walk the rest to the new office space.

Reached there and I recognised the place very well. The proposed office space *the whole 3-storey building* is actually located just opposite the mosque which I go to almost every workday. Hah! The ground floor which is a hawker place is going to moved out if we decide to get this place. But this place is quite the opposite from the one that we saw at Spottiswoode. Its so used! There was a lot of unwanted stuffs there left behind from the past tenant. The agent also told us that the 3rd and attic floor was used as a massage parlour before. Piang! There was also a secret hidden door on the 3rd floor that lead to a small 'lil room. Think they use this as a secret hiding place before.

Overall the space was good. Just that, if we take this space, there'll be a lot of renovation works. And most probably, if we choose this place, eventually, after all renovations and all, might only be able to move in around July. We'll see.

After work today, meet up with Frecky for a movie at Suntec. Was raining cats and dogs the time I left the office, reached the place quite drenched. Thought I was late *'cause of the traffice and wet weather* ,but Frecky was even late than me. Came by like just 10 minutes before the show starts. Hmph! Anyway, we went there to catch The Bucket List, starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. Was a good show. Hm, don't know if the show is considered a drama? But it's worth catching for the storyline. Not that strong, but good enough. But the overall timing is quite short? Just over one and a half hour. Should be average for a normal movie I guess.

After the movie, had a quick KFC dinner then sent her straight home.

Should be another boring day at work tomorrow.

. . Still Relaxed . .

Well, if you really need to know what I did on Monday; I had to run a few personal errands on Sunday. Run here run there. Do this do that. Tired like hell. Luckily, I took a one day leave from work on Monday. Else I'll be too tired. *Wink*

Today still relaxed day. Had a short meeting with the Photoshop Heads together with The GM. Discussed about the Senior Positions of the Photoshop Artists. Not going to discuss it here. After the meeting, The GM pulled me back to discuss something. He said The Boss had something to talk to me about. It was about something that happened last week.

Seems that while I was under-pressured from the overloaded workload last week, I kind-of harshly/rudely/angrily brushed off one of the In-Charge when she approached me to brief me on a visual that needed to be amended. They told me that she cried. I was quite shocked. I didn't realised I was that harsh. Anyway, The Boss and The GM had a good telling-me-off session. Hehe.. Well, they know I was bloody pressured.

I do know myself that I was quite harsh that day. But I didn't realised I was TOO harsh. Thought they all know I can be moody one. Haiz.. Anyway, after the quick meeting with The Boss and The GM, I went to find the In-Charge. Pull her one side and had a conversation with her.

But then, she told me she cried because of something else. Hmm, don't know whether true or not. Anyway, I did apologised to her if I had accidentally hurt her feelings one way or another. It wasn't a personal attack. It's just that the visual that she had handed me was the visual that I had done countless *think more than 20* amendments, and now they want me to amend amidst my busy shitload. Anyway, me and In-Charge are cool now.

Tomorrow going to recce an office location at South Bridge Road. It's located down-road from where our main is. The other one that I had described before at Spottiswoode, couldn't get that. The URA refused to allow us to make use of the residential into an office space. Wasted.

Hopefully this place is good and cheap.

. . My Fair Lady . .

Got back to work on Tuesday. Had a really good rest on Monday. Work was ok. Most of the projects didn't come back today so still quite relax. Rush through 1 visual coz Kay didn't start on it while I was away and it was deadlined on Tuesday itself. Haiz. How? When you want to do it right, you got to do it yourself. Managed to finished it by 5.00 pm.

Got a few amendments to do tomorrow. Think I'm going to be relaxed most of the time tomorrow. We'll see.

Anyway, passed Teo Jie-Jie her belated birthday present today. I know it's very late in passing her the present but I was undecided whether to wrap it or not. I didn't even had the time last 2 weeks to search for a wrapping paper and wrap it. So today I just 'bo-chiap' and just pass it to her without wrapping it.

I had to passed some completed visuals to the main office anyway so I left the bithday present * classic movie DVD of My Fair Lady* on her desk. She was in a meeting at that time. She sms-ed me later saying thanks and that she had yet to have that in her collection. Phew! Least I got her something she didn't have.

Left the office just before 9.00 pm. Yeah, another long day. Kay was the only one left in the office.

Really hoping tomorrow is going to be a relaxed day. My body is aching since Monday. Hehe.
